Level Premium Life Insurance
A life insurance policy with a premium that remains the same every year. The premium is usually more than the actual cost of protection during the early years of the policy, and less than the actual cost of protection in the later years of the policy. These level premiums naturally result in an accumulated reserve. The payments in the early years, combined with the interest earned on those premiums, balances out the underpayment in the later years.
